I don’t know exactly what to suggest. We just did this tasting dinner. So for us to do another so soon would probably not work too well. But we maybe could do it next year. And, with 40 wines I would suggest dividing it in half. Say 1963-83 and then 1984 forward. What do you think?

I have Ridge Montebello Cabernet from 1963 onward as a vertical, every year.What do you
suggest I do with it ?? That is over 40 years
well stored and cared for. Too many bottles for just one tasting, or would someone want to
purchase it and put on a series of tastings in
Northern California near where I live since I
would like to participate.

In cleaning out my parents garage of 33 years worth of clutter this past weekend, I found 2 bottles each of the Ridge Zinfandel Monte Bello 1974 & Ridge Zinfandel Occidental 1973. Would anyone have commentary on the drinkability or possible value of these?

Great retrospective. Fun to read after opening a ‘97 Ridge Monte Bello Zin last week! Your comments on that season explain the softer less concentrated fruit for that wine. Thanks
