With this article I am doing something I have never done. That is I am recommending wines that I have never tasted. The reason is that I do not think it is necessary. In fact, I have already made my purchases and I would rather save my limited supply of wine to drink and enjoy now one at a time and over many years into the future. You see, there is no question in my mind that 2019 is one of the greatest ever Red Burgundy vintages. And there is also no question in my mind that Domaine Anne & Herve Sigaut is one of the greatest small domaines in Burgundy (to read my article on the domaine and their 2018 wines click here [1]). And with that said the 2019 Sigauts are priced from $71 to $132 per bottle. At these prices they represent Burgundy value in today’s Burgundy market. Moreover, values like this are likely to not exist to any great extent going forward. So take a look at the 2018 article and choose what you like and order the 2019s while they are still available. You will be glad you did!
