I previously published two articles on the fabulous 2019 French Rosés.  Part 1 was about the Extraordinary 2019 Rosés from Bandol.  Part 2 included several lovely Rosés available for under $10.  This article has more notes on a lot of wonderful 2019 Rosés from France as well as two lovely Austrian Rosés,  a stunning German Rosé, several really delicious Italian Rosatos, and a lovely crisp Spanish Rosé. This is my last article on 2019 Rosés. And, even though it is past the ideal time for drinking Rosés in many parts of the country, spring will soon be here and these 2019s can be consumed with gusto while the 2020s arrive and into the year end 2021 holidays. And, for me, any time the weather is warm and I am eating lighter foods it’s Rosé Time. Said another way, here in Montecito where I live, almost all the time is Rosé Time! And, yes right now we are having a warm spell and I am drinking Rosés on daily basis!

2019 Chateau d’Esclans The Palm Whispering Angel Coteaux-Aix-en-Provence Rosé
The estate, dating to the 1200s, with 345 acres of vineyards and noted for its old Grenache vines, was acquired by Sacha Lichine in 2006 and in late 2019 LVMH acquired a majority interest. The Palm, a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Carignan, is the little sister of Whispering Angel.  Interesting but the 2019 Whispering Angel that I tasted was not good and lacking in fruit and flavor. This wine, which I have never tasted before, actually is more like the Whispering Angel Rosés of recent years.
