Ref Time Out

Hard to believe, but we’re well into summer. For the Underground, I had planned several articles on light, value-priced white wines and distinctive new wines, as well as notes on several new and upcoming releases from California wineries.  Alas, things sometimes just don’t work out the way we plan.

So instead of doing these articles and other things I really like to do, I came up with an illness that I have had for several weeks.  And, unfortunately, that is going to keep me out of commission for another few weeks.  But never fear, I’ll be back very soon.  So, enjoy the rest of your summer, drink lots of good wines, and don’t forget to try many of the terrific new 2012 Rosés.  A toast to you!
